This year we will be exploring the origins of everyday things! Do you know where your T-shirt was made? This short film, narrated by Werner Herzog, is also an origin story. (It's also very well-made, perhaps one of the best short films out there?) We're going to discuss this film further in a short while, and ask you to imagine origin stories about other objects, but for now, let's think about the following questions: Who do you think is speaking? Why does the speaker feel motivated to tell this story? Did this story remind you of any other stories? If so, which stories? Either way, what do you think is unique about this one?
